What I am trying to achieve is a denoised image ready for use in Android Tesseract OCR. The solution I came up with is to use the AbsDiff implementation of opencv to make the text colour within the images uniform. This is achieved with assistance of MedianBlur. After implementing this solution, i now experience noise in the images that can be as a result of the AbsDiff. What i now need is help in denoising the resulting image from AbsDiff or a custom implementation to achieve the solution I have described above. I have an image file that contains sparse text and would like some help configuring teseract (in my case tesseract js from ) Anyway, the issue is in the provided sample image, i can not detect the cards using any of the tesseract settings i know of and using bounding boxes. I have no problem with the text, but the cards are not registering. Perhaps I need to train it, but I would think they should work out of the box. hi i need a small script, that will monitor a directory for any new pdf file that will be saved in it. if a new file is saved in it it shoud be send to a tesseract ocr install on the same machine and the processed file should be saved in another directory, the original file should just be renamed and kept in a 3rd directory. the script should run in the background on a linux installation.
