ABOUT US:
Currently, we are seeking a highly skilled PLC programmer with expertise in Omron PLCs and INDUSOFT HMI/SCADA applications to join our team for an exciting project for a leading provider of innovative solutions in the field of industrial and electronic test equipment for semiconductors and photonics.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
We immediately need to upgrade the memory structure of our client's Omron CP-1H PLC from 32k to 1M cells to handle more precise measurements. This upgrade requires reallocating memory cells, particularly for Channel 1 & 2 AD Voltage Input data and their current calculations, and updating the INDUSOFT user interface to read the new memory allocation. The successful candidate will collaborate with our client's team to ensure the seamless integration of these changes into their systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Upgrade PLC memory structure to handle 1M cells, including double word allocation.
- Reallocation of adjacent memory cells used for other functions.
- Update INDUSOFT HMI/SCADA applications to read new memory locations.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the functionality and user-friendliness of applications.
- Provide technical documentation and support as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a PLC programmer with expertise in Omron PLCs.
- Proficiency in INDUSOFT HMI/SCADA applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in industrial or electronic test equipment for semiconductors is a plus.
