Language is what makes our world go around, but in a global marketplace it is critical that translations continue to convey the original meaning. Without resorting to cultural stereotypes, we have all read the small print on a kid’s toy or consumable good and recognized that it definitely wasn’t written by a native speaker. In this case it does not affect our use of the product, but there are many situations where a forensically accurate translation is critical. Whether they are working in the medical , technology, education or corporate fields (amongst many others), professional translators are the people who have the job of using different words to convey the same meaning. Grammatical structures and the patterns of language will vary, but they have to find a way of getting the message across to the audience so that it has the same effect. Technically, you could ask software to do this, but anyone who is fluent in a couple of languages and has tested out the abilities of Google Translate will know that this currently has huge limitations. The art of translation is understanding the cultural settings of the reader and sometimes even “trans-creating” a text so that they will appreciate it in the same way as the original reader might appreciate the original text. No machine can perform this subtle art of localizing a text to any sort of standard.

The fact that I am a native speaker of Tamil and very fluent in reading, writing and speaking many different dialects of tamil and also have excellent command over english language. The examples shown are not tamil words but malayalam words. So please ensure that you recognise the language correctly and accordingly invite bids.
