Develop a finite element procedure for the transient heat conduction problem:  You should reuse your previous codes;  You should modify your element subroutine to include the calculations for the element mass/capacity matrix;  Make sure your code takes alpha in the generalized trapezoidal rule as a parameter;  Use your code to verify the three test problems shown in Slide Page 24, 26, and 28 of “Week 4: Heat transient conduction problem” (you can choose the time step size that you want to use);  Visualize your numerical results in a reasonable way (you have freedom to choose how you want to visualize your results).

Initial and Boundary Conditions: Set initial conditions (temperature distribution at t=0). Define boundary conditions (temperature values at the boundaries). Time Integration: Use a time-stepping method (e.g., implicit backward Euler) to update the temperature field at each time step. Solve the transient heat conduction equation. Element Mass/Capacity Matrix: Modify your element subroutine to include calculations for the mass/capacity matrix. This matrix accounts for the heat storage capacity of each element. Visualization: Visualize the temperature distribution over time. You can use contour plots, surface plots, or animations.
