I need a programmer (I assume a Java programmer), that can create a "Duck Hunt" game that will work on the Blackberry Pearl line of phones (81xx models).
The programmer would have to have some artistic skills as he would have to draw the duck, gun, and other icons/pictures as necessary, but I will be designing the backgrounds.
It should be fairly simple. A still background, a duck flys around on the screen and you have to move the pearl which would move the gun.
## Deliverables
The game will have between 20 and 100 levels depending upon how big the images are, and how big the final program is. I'd like to keep it under 1MB.
The main screen will allow the user to Start a new game, Load a saved game, check out the about screen, or exit. The player will have the ability to save his game, load a game, view the about screen, or exit the game anytime during game play.
You will be expected to design all the game graphics except for the backgrounds of the levels. This includes the program icon for the blackberry phone, the ducks, the guns, bullets, aim'ing arrows, etc.
Each "level" is passed once the user shoots 3 ducks. And as each level is finished, it should become increasingly harder to kill the ducks as they should move faster and/or fly more erratically. If the player does not kill a duck within a specific time period (10 seconds, but maybe changed later), the duck will fly off the screen. The user will have to click continue, and a new duck should appear.
The screen should show how many bullets he has left in the fun, how many ducks he has killed so far, and what level he is on.
