I am a native English speaker and I specialize in editing work written by non-native speakers or translated into English from another language. I can take any word salad and transform it into a readable composition with a US or UK English voice. I can generally edit up to 2K words per hour. However, if the work requires significant editing, research checking or rewriting, my average drops to about 1K words per hour. I charge $5 USD per 500 words unless the work is very complex, then I charge by the hour at a rate of $30 USD per hour. When I work by the hour, I use the freelancer desktop app to ensure you see the progress of my time worked. I would need to review your draft first and give you a quote once I understand the scope of proofreading needed. I don't speak German but I use several on-line translators that work well. I am thorough, meticulous and diligent in my accuracy. I have never missed a deadline and pride myself on repeat clients. My time is flexible and I usually return work the same day. My only job is freelancing (I am my mother's caretaker), so this is not a hobby. This is how I pay my bills, so I take it extremely seriously. I notice that you mention "the first 3 pages" have been corrected already. How large is the document? I can offer you a higher quality proof reading as a native English speaker than the other freelancers bidding from India.

I am really good at Grammar and I think I will be perfect for the job as I can create well-punctuated and well-structured paragraphs. I also know German and I can form sentences easily using the translated words.
