Spoken English :))
Hi. Actually, it would be more correct to say coversational English.
You're quite right. You will never develop conversational skills unless you have regular interaction with English-speaking people. I have been tutoring more than 10 years. I feel satisfied to be constantly in dialogue with students and help them develop conversational skills. Throughout these years I have come to appreciate the importance of cultivating individual approach to every student, motivating them to love the language, put forth more efforts. I have academic background for other profession as well, but tutoring is my passion. Moreover, I don't quit it because my teaching skills are highly valued by students. I am always able to maintain a high level of communication and enthusiastic spirit during classes:)
Lately I have worked as an interpreter and translator for QC personnel who were originally from Australia, Canada and GB. We made jokes, actively conversed with each other about any topic. They kept mentioning that I sound very native unlike other English-speaking Armenians.
By the way, apart from conversations I would recommend listening to dialogues. It cultivates natural feeling of language composing. Actually, I use very practical methods for my students. Currently I am teaching an Arab girl from Palestine and she can't believe that I wasn't born in USA. Well, sometimes we have an inborn inclination toward certain language.....
