Written communication converts the circumference of our circular thinking into a linear construction where reader and writer can converse. Regardless of context--audience, genre, place--clarity is crucial. My own writing background has primarily been in academic contexts, but I believe this of all writing: the message in the bottle, the tasting notes printed on the bottle of wine, the notes we leave our colleagues and friends. I enjoy all stages of the writing process, independent and collaborative: translating ideas into content, revising the message-in-progress to suit its medium, proofreading an almost-finished product. I am eager to enter these stages in new writing contexts, and to communicate with you so that your message is clearly heard.
