"Archie" An English teacher by profession, and a research graduate in English Literature, I bring with myself a rich experience of writing meaningful, research-based, grammatically correct, linguistically sound write-ups. An avid reader and a passionate writer, my articles/poems have consistently featured in school/college magazines. I enjoy the process of editing and proof-reading as well, and have worked as a member of the Editorial Board in school/college both as a student and a teacher. I have experience in writing for blogs and have participated in writing for competitions. I'm an avid reader and try to incorporate key elements that I have previously come across. Having studied architecture, I'm well versed writing critiques of buildings and settlements. Archie. Here is one of my published posts describing the a tour. This is a more personal & general write-up of my study tour. Being an architecture students comes with its many perks. One mainly being the many study tours and case studies.. In my first year, I went on a North India Tour. We had a crazy schedule but somehow through a lot of running, we visited so many places such as Mumbai, Ajanta, Ellora, Bhopal, Khajuraho & Agra on one particular tour. Just before reaching Agra, due to my very hyperactive classmates, I ended up getting one eyed ( don't want to get into the details). A temporary infection which had my eyes watering constantly. So Here I am about to visit world heritage tourism spots with watery , hardly-able-to-see eyes. The first day in Agra was spent in the famous Fatehpur Sikhri . All i can say is, Thankfully I didn't fall and always had to be guided around and followed people by their clothing colours :P. Fortunately it was in the evening and didn't pose much strain. Oh by the way, I did a lot of shopping (bargaining to be honest) in the evening despite my condition.

Travelling is my passion and translating the experience into words is a skill that posses. Describing a location/activity in limited number words while retaining its essence is something that am good at. In the past I have written short travel reviews for the Lonely Planet Magazine and the samples can be provided on request.
