Develop membership payment system for our website based on WordPress

We are a Swedish association with members (100 to 500 people) paying annual membership fees. Previously we have been using MemberPress plugin as a part of the member managing system on our website. However, the payment service with MemberPress is done through Stripe which is a foreign service -- few of members had issues with paying by their bank card to online foreign service. Therefore we want to use a Swedish payment service for our member system on the website (created in WordPress). The service should be easy to use, reliable, user friendly, and ideally can be set for automatically renewal every year (on 1st Jan) if the member wishes to do so. The development will be carried out with a time plan and continuous discussion with the board. We would like to have a presentation the pros&cons of difference payment services and then make a decision on which service to choose. The payment services should also be customized with reminding emails, confirmation of payment and receipts.
