Project Description: I am looking for a freelancer who can help me explore if setting up Google Cloud Platform web hosting server will improve our web hosting LCP (Largest Content Paint) and if it will save us Money to switch to GCP from AWS. If the recommendations and details are good we will go ahead with setting up a a GPC and eventually migrating our websites to the GPC and shutting down the AWXS. Details: set up a Google Cloud Platform hosting server for website hosting. The ideal candidate should have experience with Google Cloud Platform and be familiar with Plesk. Requirements: - Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Plesk - Ability to set up and configure a hosting server for website hosting - Knowledge of standard server configurations and software installations - Ability to review current site data and estimate the right size of instance and the monthly costs. Responsibilities: - Set up and configure the Google Cloud Platform hosting server - Install and configure Plesk for website hosting - Ensure the server is optimized for performance and security - Review our current pool of websites (Size, DB size, Monthly Traffic) size for the server GB, CPU, and RAM SOME QUICK DETAILS: CPU Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2686 v4 @ 2.30GHz (16 core(s)) Version Plesk Obsidian v18.0.56_build1800231106.15 os_CentOS 7 OS CentOS Linux 7.9.2009 (Core) Disk usage: 348.66 GB Traffic: 272.80 GB VCPUs: 16 Memory: 64 GB Current AWS: m4.4xlarge MAX CPU usage on peaks days: is about 75% of total CPU resources. (There is a massive spike in traffic for one website on the first of every month that affects our resources do the popularity on one website.) RDS Relational DBs: ndc-hosting-mysql - us-west-2c - [login to view URL] - 12.44% ndc-hosting-postgres - us-west-2a - [login to view URL] - 4.27% pps-mysql - us-west-2c - [login to view URL] - 6.95% NOTE: - The decision to go ahead with the complete setup and configuration of the GCP plesk web hosting environment will depending on the following: 1. Estimate of size of the GCP required. 2. The estimate of the monthly costs of the GCP. 3. Estimate of the potential improvements in LCP. We will compensate the freelancer for the work to estimate the set up as part of a milestone in this exploration of whether it is viable to move forward. PLESK REQUIREMENTS: Please note that the client does not require any specific server configurations or software installations, so a standard setup will be sufficient. If you have any recommendations or advice regarding the setup, please feel free to provide your expertise. Please submit your proposal with your relevant experience and any additional skills or qualifications that make you a suitable candidate for this project.
