Hello, Thank you for your interest in working with us. Please read the project carefully before submitting your bid. Background: Bahrain Sports Lab (BASPOLAB) is a sports science center that uses scientific based test to measure the Resting Metabolic Rate, Fitness Level, Training Zones, and Body composition and create a personalized meal plan that helps athletes perform better at their sports and people to reach their desired body shape. The project: BASPOLAB currently uses a Body Measurement Analysis device to track the weight progress. While this is a ready tool, our reporting must have more information than what is produced by the device. Our plan is to have a webapp that is access by our staff to log in information and produces a report accordingly. The information that will be logged are the following: 1- Name 2- Date 3- Current Weight, Fat, Muscle 4- 3 Photos of the person’s body with three boxes to insert Arm, Belly, and Thighs in CMs. 5- Client Commitment (only a percentage) 6- Client Comments (Text) 7- Specialist Comments (Text) 8- Specialist Recommendations (Text) According to the above inserted information, the webapp shall produce a report that shows: 1- Client current data (weight, photos, etc..) 2- Client progress compared to the first measurement and last measurement with the current (with charts demonstrating the progress) 3- Client Comments 4- Specialist Comments 5- Specialist Recommendations 6- The final report must include badges for their achievements (Only the final report) The webapp must be able to record all of the information in a database for internal report generation purposes. Hi. I'm a software developer with about a decade of experience. Unfortunately, all the related projects, I've done are hidden (so can not be shared). I will need to develop both a frontend and a backend for this. For the frontend, I would use ReactJS with standard Material UI elements. Do you have a design in mind? Templates? Should this be usable on mobile devices or only on a desktop? For this implementation, I would have a preference to use python to build the backend. Doing it in php would also be possible (if you prefer). A python application has the advantage that one can package it as a standalone solution, that can be run as a script (with sqlite as a database) instead of the heavier footprint of php with a full webserver (e.g. apache) and a database (e.g. mysql). What is your hosting plan?
