We are in the process of translating our word processor (Windows) to Arabic and adding support for word processing in Arabic. In this project, I search for a native Arab speaker with excellent experience with MS Word. The task is this: Start MS Word 2003 or 2007, start our word processor in parallel. Load Arabic Word (DOC and DOCX) and RTF documents into both programs and compare how both programs display the documents. Report any differences (for example: Arabic letters shaped wrongly, date field using Gregorian instead of Hijri calendar, Arabic numbers displayed instead Hindi ones etc. etc.) via our web-based bugtracking system. Report the issues as you find them; don't collect them but post them immediately. Also, as part of this project you should be available via MSN Messenger for direct questions about Arabic -- in total, not more than one hour.
