Hi there, wee are a diversified restaurant group with 8 concepts, SocMed and webpage presences in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, operating since 2005. It is admittedly a tall order to stay on top of it all with only 2 inhouse marketing personel and we concluded that SocMed is innundated to the degree that we think we should emphazise SEO efforts since we are closer to the actual purchase decision by ranking on search intent/ keywords. (compared to e-commerce, the decision to visit a restaurant is still made offline and we feel brandawareness on socmed is important but doesnt lead to an actual reservation in most cases) We considered parking all our outlets under a summary webpage ( [login to view URL] ) and wonder if anybody out there could advise us on optimizing that page to capture market and rank higher for concept specific keywords (e.g. romantic dinner, rooftop bar, family gathering, event space, wedding venue, etc) We understand that in order to get there, major changes need to be established but lack the professionalism and epertise to set up for success. We'd say the "basics" are in place (e.g. verified google locations, up to date wordpress webpages for each concept etc) We are understanding of the fact that this is not an overnight / magic pill exercise but had our frustrations with so called "local SEO experts" in the past just telling us "choose top 10 keywords and repeat them at least 10 times in your page write ups"....really? this still a thing in 2023? sigh... We are located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Anybody out there who would like to consider taking us on as a project in the hypercompetitive f&b restaurant market, i look forward to connect!
