Word VBA or Add-In: Context menu to put inline graphic in place of text, and text in place of inline graphic.

I would like a VBA macro or Add-In for Word, which adds: 1) a context menu for selected text, to put in its place an inline embedded graphic object as described below; and 2) context menu for embedded inline graphics, to put in its place, certain text as described below.. Putting embedded line graphics in place of text -- I am supplying a BMP file to use as the graphics object to put in the place of the text, replacing it. The procedure is to set the Alternate Text Title property of the embedded inline graphic to be the replaced text, so the text in question has disappeared from view, and the new embedded graphic showing in its place. Putting text in place of embedded inline graphic -- The reverse operation to the above -- we note the Alternate Text Title property of the embedded inline graphic, then replace that inlined embedded graphic object with that noted Alternate Text. So the above two operations are fully reversible. If the selected text is more than 80 characters long, I would like to avoid displaying the context menu item, as it is too long. Or, at least, have logic so if it is selected, it displays a dialog box saying the text is too long. If the selected embedded inline graphic has an Alternative Text Title set to an empty string, then I would like to not display the context menu, or if we are displaying that menu, exit without doing the conversion. At minimum this should work in Word 2010, but if you can get it also to work in Word 2007 and Word 2003, that's a bonus. I would also like to be able to specify other graphics files in the future to do this operation with, so the code should be self-documenting in how to make this modification. Note that nothing about this project involves displaying a graphical representation of text, or OCR. The same exact graphic (the one attached to this project) is displayed in place of any text that is operated on. The only difference between multiple embedded graphic, is that their Alternate Text Title property has been set, to the text that was there before the embedded graphic was put in its place. ## Deliverables See attached for the graphics file to use for this project as referenced in the description above.
