Overview: We have a RoR app (code on Gitlab) which was working fine on Heroku. Recently, it began demonstrating a mail sending related issue on all 3 Heroku environments, but appears to function correctly on a dev environment. Need to: a) Wipe (app/data) & rebuild environment no.2, & all config variables, and confirm code is working. b) I need to then redeploy the same code to a different environment without impacting active data, and make sure config is correct, and that the code on this environment functions correctly. c) Then need to validate reason for outage and we will test d) Then need to deploy to production, provided source of issue is known, understood, and can be rectified. To be done within 24-48 hours. Detailed scope + access will be provided. Any issues should be escalated immediately. Required confirmation of cost & resolution timescales. Further pieces of work may be requested based on performance.
