We are looking for an efficient virtual assistant to collaborate with our Energy Benchmarking & Energy Audit Engineer to contribute and support the execution of projects. The assistant's responsibilities include monitoring project progress, following up with stakeholders on the completion or delay of project phases, scheduling meetings, and maintaining project documents and reports. To be successful as a virtual assistant, you should be able to perform any tasks assigned by the managing engineer in an efficient and timely manner. An outstanding assistant should be able to maintain oversight of specified project activities, identify any issues, and ensure these are resolved promptly. The candidate will start the project working 2 days per week, 9am to 1pm eastern time zone, with some flexibility on the day that work best for the company and the candidate. Depending on the candidate's demonstrated performance and our company workflow, we expect there will be an opportunity for additional hours as we are a growing company. Assistant Responsibilities: • Communicating with stakeholders regarding project needs and goals. • Supporting the coordination and management of projects. • Performing administrative tasks such as emailing information, organizing documents, scheduling meetings, etc. • Keeping track of and reporting on project progress. • Completing any tasks assigned by the Engineer in an efficient and timely manner. Assistant Requirements: • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software. • Excellent English speaking and writing skills • Experience managing projects within spreadsheets or a simple project management software • Previous experience as an assistant, project management or a similar role. • Highly organized and able to multitask. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Able to work independently and as part of a team. • Previous experience in energy sustainability, energy benchmarking, or energy audits would be a plus but is not required.
