I can help you with your changes if you have a step file of your model it converts better than a stl file. A stl file is just a bunch of triangles that form the shape of what ever the model is, it is not good for modeling. STL files are for 3D printing. Let me know what formats you have your model in and I can tell you which one will work the best to be able to make changes on the existing model. Thanks, Terry
