Hi there!
I have 2 PC's on the same LAN. I'd like to copy a postgre database from one of them to the another one. I need a script / batch for that. Both PC has Windows 8 and postgre 9.3. The script needs to overwrite the old DB with the new one. Unfortunately i can not give you any access to my PC's because the company's policy, but i can try your script. It has to be as fast as possible. The database size is around 500MB.
Regards
Peter

Single/more databases?
Old database to be droppped?
No window skills.
Can use simple commands in a few steps w/ feedback.
I am working on postgresql from last one and half year. And Same work has been done so many times by me. Willl you tell me one thing that what exactly you want to do, I mean if you want to take pg_dump from machine A and want to copy this on machine B . OR in second scenario you want to do the simple copy of a data directory or pgsql directory from machine A to machine B.
