Key Responsibilities: [Install WordPress, Woo Commerce, Theme and essential plugins before proceeding to creating this plugin below.] Job Description: We require a WordPress developer to install WordPress on our chosen hosting along with the Content Egg, Affiliate Egg, and Woo Commerce plugins to import products from various stores such as Amazon, WalMart and BestBuy. The developer will then install the WordPress theme ReCart from REHub to display the products according to the theme. A custom plugin will also need to be developed to modify imported prices of products from other stores by adding a delivery fee, duty tax, GST Tax, and a percentage profit to the imported price. This modification can be done for each imported product or for an entire category of the same imported products, ensuring that the updated price is displayed on every part of the eStore. For example, if the Imported Price of a product from Amazon is $100 USD, the plugin will modify the Imported Price by adding a delivery fee of $10 USD, a 20% duty fee, and a 10% profit margin resulting in a final price of $145.20 USD, which will be displayed on the eStore before the customer adds the product to the cart. The developer will also create a shipping options section to display custom international shipping options during checkout. Customers will be able to select their preferred shipping method and view the total cost at checkout, including the product's final price and shipping fees before making a purchase. Shipping methods will be created via the Admin Panel through the custom plugin, taking into consideration weight of the item and calculating price per weight into the shipping fee. Finally, the developer will implement an order management system that admin can access within the plugin that allows admins to create infinite section for when orders are placed locally on the site and by default there will be 6 sections with the following status for any purchases, Pending Orders, Processed Orders, Freight Arrival Orders, Shipped Orders, Arrived Orders, and Fulfilled Orders. Customers will receive a receipt and a status update on their order, which will be initially labeled as Pending Orders. Once the admin purchases the item on behalf of the customer, the status of the order will change to Processing Orders, then Arrived Orders once the product reaches the destination country. Lastly, when the customer receives their order, the status will change to Fulfilled Orders. Customers can view their order status at any time. Qualifications: Proficient in WordPress, Woo Commerce, and theme installation. Experience developing custom WordPress plugins. Knowledge of Content Egg and External Importer Pro plugins to import the products. Attention to detail and a strong ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
