a web-based booking portal (shipping tool) that offers the following functionality. 5.2.1. The functionality to create and store for future retrieval the customer’s master data which includes information such as the customer name, delivery address, and special instructions. 5.2.2. Book consignments for pick-up and delivery. The typical details include selecting the customer and their delivery address and entering the number of cartons, consignment weight, and special instructions. Three (3) additional separate fields are also required as detailed in point 5.2.3. Also noting that some customers have multiple delivery addresses, or the delivery address may be DHSV (reverse logistics). 5.2.3. The three (3) additional separate fields mentioned in point 5.2.2 are to be “searchable” and are required by DHSV to capture DHSV’s sales order number, cost center, and other essential information that presents from time to time. The three (3) additional separate fields are an additional requirement to the standard consignment data specified in point 5.2.2. DHSV requires this information to appear on the Tax Invoice line-item detail and also appear on the delivery confirmation for each consignment. 5.2.4. The booking portal must generate consignment labels. Each label is to contain at a minimum the information described in point 5.2.2. 5.2.5. The booking portal is to create a daily consignment manifest, which is saved for a period no less than 7 years, within the shipping tool and can be downloaded electronically and/or printed in hard copy. 5.2.6. Consignment Track and Trace functionality. 5.2.7. The system functionality to store, and enable DHSV to view, and download consignment-related detail such as the signed Proof of Delivery (POD). 5.2.8. The system functionality to email electronic consignment notifications to DHSV and dental agencies. Notifications at key milestones include:  The point of pick-up  Receipt at the service providers’ depot  Despatch from the service providers’ depot  Once received by the customer Note: DHSV’s preference is for the system to allow notifications to be set at a customer level.
