Hey there, Why are you going SVN way, why not git? Git is popular these days and most companies are moving to using git. I can install an open source git repository on server and then you can assign roles to users through web interface. let me know how does that sounds. Thanks

Dear Employer, I would recommend you to use Linux server instead of Windows due to its high security, scalability and stability. SVN server can be installed and configured on Windows as well but, Please note SVN (subversion) requires apache or ssh integration to work. And both these S/W are third party for Windows and can cause vurnability to server. So my recommendation is to use Linus server as SVN , ssh and apache comes by default with it. Choice is yours.
