I’m a photographer looking for help with the following: I’ve got around 1 000 JPG:s with a unique caption text for every image written into the IPTC metadata. However each caption ends with the same words, which is the name and credentials of an image agency I’ve been working for. What I need is a script of some kind that could batch alter the captions for each one of these pictures, removing these last words. As one might guess I’ve got no code writing skills whatsoever. l I work on MacOS. Best regards, Ulf

Hey, I have good experience with PHP. I have dealt with parsing and editing image tags using PHP. Can you send one image as sample so that I can send you back image with updated IPTC tag so you can confirm then I will add the logic so that it processes all the images in the folder. I will also help you get it working on your system so that you can use it just by running a command in your terminal. I can finish this in next 2 hours or less. Let me know if you have any question.
