Fix an error code in my php form

I hav a form that passes basic customer information and pricing over to paypal. When you hit the submit button on the form, there is a small error message that shows up before it then successfully passes all the information to paypal. So the core function of the form is working fine. The problem is: 1) it doesnt email me that a sale was made and 2) that clearly has something to do with the error message. so i need this fixed so the error message doesnt show and the script then starts sending me an email when a sale is made. here's the error message: Warning: mail(/var/log/php_maillog): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/egr/public_html/[login to view URL] on line 92
