We require a developer that could create an extension (a plugin or a module?) for the MacOS X RealBasic 2006 and 2007 programming environment, that would add / amend the following functions: -fix strikeOut() function When using the RealBasic HTMLViewer control and loading an html page that contains frames, the javascript strikeOut() function is not functional (it should allow the user to strike out a selected word by clicking on it while holding down the Control key (or right-click with the mouse) - this does work in the RealBasic webkit if there are no frames, but not if the html page in question is opened within a frame.) Your job would be to fix this. -javascript [login to view URL]() function We need this function to work in the RealBasic HTMLViewer control. Again, this must work from within frames, too. Furthermore, we need a way to disable certain buttons that are usually enabled in the standard MacOS X print dialog box, such as the "?" button, "Preview", "Edit Printer List..." (in 10.3), "Add Printer.." and "Printer and fax preferences" buttons (in 10.4). It is important that the solution does not compromise the security of the app (the app will run fullscreen and the print dialog window must not allow the user to leave the app and access other apps or the system). If it turns out to be impossible to deactivate them, a secondary solution could be the direct printing to the currently selected printer with the current preferences. -http and https mixed in one and the same page When loading pages in RB's HTMLViewer control that contain both, html and https elements, nothing will happen. Loading the same page in Safari will give you a message informing you about the non-secure and secure parts but then loads everything just fine. Your job would consist in making this type of pages load in applications built with RB 2006 and 2007 and using the HTMLViewer control. When posting your bid please also indicate the time you will need to provide the solution.
