Windows Application - Contains an embedded browser like IE or Firefox (and needs to be legal to distribute this embedded browser) - Browser does not contain any status or address bars - Browser opens a URL configured in the registry - The URL can be configured through a menu (registry setting) - Browser supports popup windows Installer - Installs the embedded browser and all required components, just a typical installer. - Has an extra input box/screen that prompts for "Company Name" and sends it to a CGI gateway (already written), receives an ERROR response or a version of that company name in a format that can be used in a URL (ie: "Rent A Coder" would become either ERROR if it was taken or 'rentacoder' if it is good.) - 'Accept' or 'Reject' buttons for the proposed name as returned by the CGI Gateway, if accepted, send it back to the CGI Gateway again to inform that the name is accepted. If Rejected, allow them to try again with a different name. - Accepted names get saved to a registry setting used by the embedded browser application as its default URL.
