71823 Overhaul of retail CD website

Hey folks... Thanks for checking out our project. This is actually a relisting of a project we previously submitted but the person we selected flaked and we were left high and dry. Hopefully we're more successful this time around. Anyway, again thanks for checking this out, and here's the scoop... We are a small company that sells underground CDs, Records, Shirts, etc. online. We're incorporating and changing our name and have a new site designed for the big launch. Here's a link to our old site: http://www.deadaliverecords.com. As you can see it's very rudimentary and rather unappealing to the eyes. Now here's a link to the index page of our new site design: [login to view URL] Much better don't you think? What we are looking for is someone who can take the database from our old site, fine tune it, fix some bugs, and apply it to our new site. We would like to add some new features like showing customers what other customers bought, show the top sellers on the index page, wholesale pricing, etc. Also, we would like to have the new site be fully self administrating. Currently to make any changes on the physical website (not the store database) all changes must be done in HTML using Dreamweaver and uploaded to the server. We would like a fully functioning backend where if say we wanted to change the "news", or "ordering info" section we could just simply type in what we want in a section on the backend and hit enter. Adding new interviews, new MP3s, etc. we want to be able to all of that on the backend. As for our actual ordering process, it's very outdated. When customers place an order they are given a screen printout of their order and can either mail in their order or submit it through Paypal. We would still like to give customers the option of sending their order in through the mail or but would like the primary option to be credit card ordering. Lucky for you though, we don't want the website to process the credit cards for us. We would like to securely collect all of the customers information and store the orders in a secure location on the backend. This way we can print out the new orders daily, manually process them, and then archive the orders on the backend. Some web design will be required. We have designed the index page ([login to view URL]) but that's it. The other pages are simple enough and would simply needed to be plugged in to fit the look and feel of the index page's design. Lastly, we would like to launch in June so that's about the time frame we're looking at. Whew! That was a mouthful. Hopefully I've covered everything you would need to know.
