Diagramming app .net

we are interested in buying a diagramming app control/component for use in a vb.net application. It will need to have some basic features like most diagramming apps like visio <[login to view URL]>[][1] Shapes should have the ability to be resized, basic tools for drawing lines and curves, connecting 1 shape to another so when they are moved the lines stay connected. We will want you to expose properties for the shapes like fill color,gradient etc..Syncfusion has a pretty simple shape creator that lets the user make some shapes using drawing tools The most important thing is that the background of the diagram has the option to be transparent. This is where some of these other components fail and we need this. Let us know your experience with this type of software and we can discuss scope and features set and then price. It would be best to keep the diagram format and shapes xml friendly so we can integrate with our apps easily.
