Hi, Here is the requirement
I.- Platform: MS Outlook and MS Excel
II.-Objective: Create an script that can populate an Excel with the information currently included in hundreds of emails in Outlook-Inbox
III.- Requirements: Create an one-timer script that
a)Read the outlook 2003 or 2007 inbox – running on Windows XP
b)Select only those emails where subject (Asunto in Spanish) starts with ¡Felicitaciones!. You can see an image of the Inbox attached with some of the emails with that Subject (See [login to view URL] attached). Others emails with different subject should not be considered
c)START populating the Excel “database” with the email date. It is located in “Recibido” column in the Inbox.
d)Open each email and read the information inside of the email format and fill one line of the Excel File with the data on the email. Fields to be considered you can see in the email_image-jpg).
e)Fields to be considered to capture for each email form and moved to the Excel File are
Fields : Some Description
Date : From the point c) above
Artículo : In the email form header with BLUE color an CAPITAL LETTERS
Nombre : Same Format that appears in the email form
Seudónimo : Just the nickname that appears, without the “(X)” characters
Cantidad : Same Format that appears in the email form
Precio : Without the “$” sign and “c/u” that appears in the email form
Email : Same Format that appears in the email form
Teléfono : Same Format that appears in the email form
Ciudad : Same Format that appears in the email form
Estado : Same Format that appears in the email form
País : Same Format that appears in the email form
f)All the information has to be stored in an Excel File. Please See the Excel File attached with an example from the email attached ([login to view URL])
g)Consider an inbox of 5000 emails and 3000 with the subject ¡Felicitaciones! That needs to be read and captured the data.
h)For you to have a real email example, please find attached in the WORD Document 5 real emails for your analysis and test. If you need more, I can provide a lot.
