Web app: scrape phone numbers from email

I am hiring a developer to create only the beginning of an application. If this milestone is completed well, there will be more work immediately. The requirements are as follows.... The idea of this project is to index phone numbers from an email account. For example, if you have emailed me your phone number, the application uses regular expressions to go through the IMAP archives of my email account, find all messages that contain a NANP-valid phone number, and put them into a searchable database. You are welcome to use PHP, python, or Ruby for this project. The database should be MySQL or MongoDB. If you are going to use PHP or python, you should use a development framework. I have already had the first version of this software written, including the IMAP email parsing. It is bundled into a Django app. However, it needs to be scaled in order to use a message queue-type functionality so that the app can handle multiple people. You can also feel free to start over from scratch. I have a detailed spec, attached as a file. ## Deliverables "INDEX" The footer on the page should use a template. There should also be HTML template pages generated for About Us, Privacy and Security Policy, Blog. The "Existing users log in here" link should redirect to "LOGIN" Once a user creates an account, you will either be able to successfully authenticate into their IMAP account, or it will fail. If there is a failure, direct them to "PROBLEM-LOGGING-IN". If the login is successful, direct them to "INDEXING-STARTED" "PROBLEM-LOGGING-IN" This page should give them an option to provide a different email address and password. Based on the domain of their account (GMail, Yahoo, Hotmail, or OTHER) the line should say, "Make sure that IMAP is available for your [account_type]". IF they are not using GMAIL, YAHOO or HOTMAIL, then account_type should just say "email account". The section "How to make sure IMAP is enabled" should show a static HTML guide. I will provide the text for the Yahoo, Gmail, and Hotmail guides. For now, just use templates - I can change them later. Be sure to update the email address and password on the account once the information is confirmed to be working, and then redirect them to "INDEXING-STARTED". "INDEXING-STARTED" This page should tell them that the index of their account has begun. It should also show a form with an email address to contact them at. If they enter an address different from the email address they gave to scrape, then save it in the database. Once scraping is finished, it should fire a notification email to this address. SUBJECT: Check out all the numbers from your email! MESSAGE: We've finished scraping your account! Go check out all the numbers we've found in your brand new address book: [login to view URL] "LOG IN" Once the user logs in, it should direct them to "INDEXING-STARTED" if index is in progress, "PROBLEM-LOGGING-IN" if the IMAP account credentials are invalid. If their DijScrape credentials are invalid, display a simple "invalid login" error. If index is complete, it should direct them to "SEARCH-NUMBERS". "SEARCH-NUMBERS" This is self explanatory. The search field should search the name, phone number, message context, and email fields. The "log out" link should log the user out of the system. For this milestone, you do NOT need to Blur out the "phone number" field. You can also ignore the "TRIAL-EXPIRED" and "SUBSCRIBE-NOW" mockup slides. For completion of this project, please have this up and running on a development webserver I can access, to test its functionality as described.
