Linux Server Admin Needed to quickly install FFMPEG and XPDF

We need an experienced *nix server admin to install FFMPEG and XPDF on our client's Fedora Core 6 VPS. Our previous Server guy couldn't do it, and left partially installed YUM,XPDF on the server, an experienced person should be able to do this in a few [login to view URL] server itself is in good health since the previous install attempts failed and left only files on the server and it is known that Python 4.2.3 was installed properly. But, he couldn't manage to find the proper installer for YUM and couldn't install XPDf using the RPM installer as he was possibly trying to install an SRPM and due to inexperience couldn't manage to install the dependencies, as a result the install failed. please let me know why you think you can do this quickly without fail and without damaging the VPS. We need it done ASAP. The budget is $50 for an hour or two worth of your intelligence and experience.
