Thanks for taking the time to read this project description.
I would like to hire someone that is familiar with Microsoft
Office, spreadsheets and databases. This project involves a
bit of data conversion.
Recently, a programmer parsed an online database and created
a spreadsheet (compatible with OpenOffice or MS Excel) that
lists information in the following format:
Address Telephone Name Location
Data for each field is in a different column. Please see the example
file that I have attached to this project for a better understanding.
My aim, is to print these addresses onto envelopes. So your
job is to change the formatting of this database, to present
the contents in a more appropriate way.
For instance, a normal address would look simply like this:
Name
Address
As you can see, only two fields are required from the excel
spreadsheet. Just the name of the business, and the address.
If possible, I would like you to take my spreadsheet, then
reformat the information into the address format shown above
and then perhaps drop all the addresses into a MS Word
document.
I want to print these addresses on envelopes. This project
involves two steps. 1) Convert existing entries in the excel
spreadsheet to an appropriate address format. 2) Modify the
spreadsheet or convert it into a MS Word document to allow
me to print the addresses on envelopes fed into my printer.
