I am looking to spruce up my website [login to view URL] by getting rid of the pcnames domain search it currently has. My biggest problem is that it is limited to only a few tld's and I sell way more. I am a GoDaddy reseller. What I want it an ajaxified form where you enter a word and it spits out a determined number of suggestions in a cloud formation. Then when you click on one of then, it greys out the rest of the page (like greybox - [login to view URL]) and forms a box center screen with that domain suggestion they chose up top and then list it below with the 37 or so extensions I currently have for sale found here: [login to view URL] They can each be hyperlinked to simply throw that domain name into the GoDaddy form and let the GoDaddy backend take over from there. So for example... type in health cloud suggestions ... Health~HealthFair~GlobalHealth~GoodHealth~ etc.. I click on GoodHealth and entire website grays out and GoodHealth moves to top center and forms a long skinny box. It reads: Good Health ========== [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] etc... for all 37 possible extensions. Each of these will be hyperlinked (with alt text saying click here to check realtime availability of "theDomainName") to open a new window and send that domain name to my regular GoDaddy backend to check availability. It should actually send the domain name so they only have to click once. Alternately you can click a close button and the long skinny box with disapear and the cloud will still be there. You can click on another suggestion or type in a new keyword for a new cloud of suggestions. I also want an ajaxified advanced search drop on the main search form that would offer a few filters for the suggestions like keyword at beginning, end, anywhere, max length, #words etc.. As far as how/what it suggests, I assume there will be a separate database hopefully with a simple interface to see what's in there and also to add and delete them as I see fit. I would like the suggestions to randomly pull from this list and randomly put them in front or behind (unless advanced filtered) so there isn't any recognizable patterns forming. Alternatively, I would be open to suggestion on this part if you have any ideas. I don't know if it's posible to do a Google search right away on whatever they type in and it gathers 2 word or 3 word phrases from the serps. That would be relevant it would seem and there wouldn't be a need to create and maintain the separate database. What do you think?
