im after a torrent scrape script written in either PHP or BASH, it needs to be quite fast (as i have about 8million torrents in my DB) must be able to scrape both UDP and HTTP based trackers. Using Multiscrape functions would be great. --- Servers are Currently Running Apache, MySQL 5.5 Debian 7 & Ubuntu 12.04 LTS I have a separate table for ALL trackers, which each info_hash attached. ie. Row 1: [ID] [40B HEX] [[login to view URL]] [Seed] [Peer] [Updated] Row 2: [ID] [40B HEX] [[login to view URL]] [Seed] [Peer] [Updated] Row 3: [ID] [40B HEX] [[login to view URL]] [Seed] [Peer] [Updated] etc etc.. Budget is fairly low, but with the nature of the site and the giant database i already have, extra work is inevitable. Regards, Ryan

I can deliver the script in PHP and not sure about the threading aspect as PHP has no threads and same is bash

I don't have problem in make a PHP Shell to check the torrents database but I think will be a better idea write the software using C++, the execution speed will be faster, is only a recommendation.
