Hello Fellow Coders.
We have a community website wich now needs a Clan Component to manage our clanmembers and a module to show them off.
This component should basicly handle the management of the clanmembers and their avatars and info and some other small features.
The module should basicly show everything that is inputed into the component. and the reason we want a module for this is basicly for the easyness of handling a module inside joomla.
If the person/company who takes this task show them self good we will defenatly have more work developig this component further.
We also have some other plans to make a Tournament/ladder component as we plan on starting big tournaments on the website for gaming clans.
Right now this module and component will be for BF3.
So it will be very good if you have this game yourself or any other online gaming experiance.
Check out the pictures i have attached for more information about the component we want to be builded.-
This is for Joomla 1.7 and MySQL and UTF-8 for swedish characters.
The component must also be able to install as a normal component and module in joomlas own installation menu.
## Deliverables
Show Members MODULE:
The module should not contain any special settings accept the normal joomla settings and one other setting to choose "tmpl" file/style.
therefor there should be an option to manually upload a tmpl file/folder to custimize the style of the module.
The default template should be made by you and look like the picture attached in the zipfile attached. named: [login to view URL]
As you ca see the module should display groups inthe clan meaning if you click the "Alpha" or "Bravo" group the module should show those members. here is an link to that what we call "accordion Effect"<[login to view URL]>
Component
Component page Edit Members:
this component page should display all members in a list just like it looks in the picture called: "[login to view URL]"
Here you can see the members and the only setting here is to:
Checkboxes to Delete or Activate/deactivate.
there are also some setting to the right to make the member "visable" or "not visable" or to the far right "Edit" the meber.
There are also some setting to "Order" the member and this controls the order the member is placed in the module.
Edit Member:
Check "[login to view URL]"
Here you can see the settings and edit it. Most of it is basicly straight forward
* Clanrank Setting
This is a dropdownlist wich you can choose the clanranks
* Specialist
Same as above but for spcialist rank
* Group
Wich group should this member belong to
* Profile URL
Here you should be able to just enter the url (http) to the members jomsocial page/profile
*Avatar
here you should be able to upload a new avatar or delete the allready uploaded. The width and height of the avatar should be
116x123 and in the "Show Module" you see a border around it witch is 3px
* Active
This is not active persay and only displays a text in the module that says "Avtive" or "Non Active"
* Order
This is wich order the member should be presented in the module depending on how many members that group contains but lets
say for example the group contains 9 members you should be able to set it to 3, and the member should be displayd as third in the
show module list of that group.
*Visable
This is basiclythe Active persay. :) Meaning that this member will be visable in the Show module or not.
Edit Ranks:
By clicking in the top menu on "ranks" (icon= orange crown) see picture: "[login to view URL]"
Here you see a basic list of the ranks added, you can delete and add new ranks.
* [login to view URL]
This picture show when you want to edit or add a new rank.
The alias field is only for the name in the backend and will not be shown front end.
Edit Specialists:
Same as above but for specialists rank. See picture: "[login to view URL]"
* [login to view URL]
Same as above.
IMPORTANT:
One other feature i forgott to make a picture for is the option that should be available is the option to be able to make the Groups the members should belong to. So that has to be inserted also.. Meaning a simple list of the groupd and option to Add new, delete and edit them.. Basicly one field needs to be there: "Name of the Group."
IMPORTANT2:
The db needs to be insde joomla and be able to use swedish or european letters as ???,
the Nicknames also has to be able to contain symbols and strange characters as some gamers might be named: "Ch4Rli?C0n??R^^"
And as i said before the Show Members Module should only contain one setting eccept joomlas and that is to choose template file/style.
We are really in a hurry so if this can be done in less then 5days there is an extra 50EURO to be collected.
