I would love some feedback for this program I have-I am going to have it run on Win. XP Here is my idea. I will put it in really basic terms. You have just downloaded an entire website full of pictures. There is a main folder with a bunch of Sub-folders. Let us say 100 sub- folders. Well, instead of clicking on each one to view its contents, you would have a program that takes a "visual" snapshot of what is in each folder and catalogs it. Step One. Start the Program These would be the Dialoge Boxes--in " " Step 2. " Select Main Folder" Step 3. " Select # of Photos to Grab from Subs" You enter 3, 4, 5 pics the program would scan from each folder. Step 4. " Limit Size to X " It would only grab certain sizes. Like nothing under 20k. Or files over 20k, etc. Step 5. " Choose Thumbnail Output Size" You could have presets. Like 200 X 200 etc... Step 6. " Save Catalog As .RTF or Html" It would take the pics from the folders...Say 5...and Lay them out in a row... Like PIC- PIC- PIC-PIC-PIC...and right below that it would have where the folder|pic is located-e.g. PIC--PIC--PIC--PIC--PIC C:\My PIctures\Site1\Waterfalls1\[login to view URL] PIC--PIC--PIC--PIC--PIC C:\My PIctures\Site1\Waterfalls2\[login to view URL] PIC--PIC--PIC--PIC--PIC C:\My PIctures\Site1\Waterfalls1\[login to view URL] PIC--PIC--PIC--PIC--PIC C:\My PIctures\Site1\Waterfalls3\[login to view URL] And So On... Step 7. " Save Catalog To" This would give you an output option. Step 8. " Start Visual Cataloging" Done. Can anyone do this? Well, I hope it is clear enough. I have designed a few other programs that are really useful too. I have talents in Photoshop...So if buttons and logos have to be made, I can do that. Just say the word. I would love to see this be made. Thanks. I really look forward to hearing anyone who has some programing talent. Thanks!
