Can you please read over the document I have attached to fully understand the issues withe appending video files at the moment. What we are trying to do is this. Start Broadcast Live video during live broadcast, push a stored/archived video FLV file already on the server. when the FLV stops, then it returns back to Live Broadcast again. Basically during a live broadcast, we need to have the viewers be able to see the pushed video file (which is easy enough to do and we have done this) but we need the RED5 server to make an archived file of theabroadcast so that we can watch it later and it shows the pushed video file in the part where it was pushed. This means, for the Broadcast that I have just pushed a video file during, I am able to watch the archived video file of that broadcast and it shows the video file as part of the archived file. So during a Live Broadcast where people are watching the Video as a live event Live -> push Video File - > Live but then afterwards, we can watch the file that the server recorded for that live event and it shows eactly the same. The current dilemna my current RED5 programmer is having is that he cannot detect when the pushed video file has stopped so he can revert back to the live video. He claims there is no documentation to support this but has found something which he believes will work now. Please read this and let me know if you are capable of doing this work for me. I only want to work with a RED5 Expert on this, obly bid for this job if oyu are a RED5 Expert. Many thanks and look forward to working with you.
