I am looking for a very fast, scalable, extensible, and configurable screen scraper that can be used to scrape information from various poker sites and store that data in real time. For now, the data can just be stored in a text file. This will be used to create a backend assistant, much like PokerTracker ([login to view URL]) that can help players find weaknesses in their play. The requirements are that the scraper be coded in Java using the Robot class. It must run on a Macintosh (should just work if pure Java) running the latest OS X 10.4.7 and Java SE 6.0. It must be very fast, and be able to scrape multiple windows in real time with no data loss. In addition, it must be easy to configure for various sites (fonts, graphics, etc...) and be very easy to maintain. As a basis for this project, you can read the following paper which shows much of the pseudo code needed and also outlines common mistakes and efficiencies: [login to view URL]:Hgx2ptszzFkJ:www.cs.brown.edu/publications/theses/ugrad/2005/hsakai.pdf+Haruyoshi+Sakai+poker&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=1 The scraper would need to scrape both graphical elements as well as text chat elements and convert both into text actions such as raise, fold, etc... Ideally it could be configured by pasting in graphics or text to "watch" and specificying their locations graphically but this is not required. I am happy to answer additional quesitons.

## Platform
This program needs to run first on Macintosh OS X 10.4.7 using the latest Java SE 6.0 release from Apple. However, it should also run on Linux and Windows given that it is 100% pure Java.
