Sql Server & Double Byte Characters

Our Challenge... We are running consumer surveys in many languages that cover single byte characters and double byte characters (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, etc). Our web programming platform is Active Server Pages (javascript & vbscript) & SQL Server 2000. When we collect open ended answers in double byte characters (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, etc), we are unable to write to Sql Server and Read from Sql Server. I presume the problem lies in the way Sql Server stores double byte characters. Solution/Expertise Required... We are looking for an expert in web development Active Server Pages (javascript & vbscript) and sql server to provide a very easy to understand documentation of how we can have our web application/sql server compatible to double byte characters. Please provide us a step by step explanation on the processes and procedures involved to make a web application work with double byte characters. If there are any third party components that we have to use, please do let us know and also how to work with the component. Please do offer your services if you have successfully worked with double byte characters both at asp and sql server level. Considering our level of expertise to be average, we would like a simple to understand step by step procedure guide and documentation.
