I need to implement small vb.net project (running on visual basic 2010 express) with just one windows form (three buttons + one extra form for pdf displaying) for uploading BIG PDF files (up to 1GB per file) in database Postgresql 9.3 (cannot be changed as database type) and option to download and show the last uploaded PDF file. ODBC connectivity must be NOT used. I did all of this functionality BUT it works fine for files up to 50MP and I have out of memory exception in case of uploading of big PDF file (170MB test pdf file for example). The database table for storing of all uploaded PDFs is given as CREATE SQL script. You can add binary column and to store there info if you want. So you can two option for doing the project 1. To use my project and just to update it for storing and showing PDF files up to 1GB from Postgresql 9.3 database 2. To begin from scratch VB.net project - as you want but must use Postgresql 9.3 as database and to avoid ODBC connectivity.
