PeekPoket is a free open source application ( [login to view URL] ) that reads signal strength from Wifi spots around your PDA/mobile.
Each Wifi spot is saved into a 'structure' as:
BSSID (Name), RSSI (integer number), Authentication, etc.
I'd like to get RSSI from 1 Wifi point every X secs during Y minutes, and store those 30-40 RSSI values in a .TXT
I guess first steps are:
* Add a 3rd tab to application (it's well explained in previous webpage)
* In that 3rd tab to show:
X-coord --- Y-coord ---
Scanning time --- minutes
Acces_Point ---
Button 'START'
* XCOORD and YCOORD fields go from 1 to 60.
* MINUTES goes from 0.5 to 5 (step 0.5)
TXT layout could be, for example:
1st line: DATE, XCOORD and YCOORD.
2nd line: RSSI values
As for the filename: [login to view URL]
(Every time I want to get new RSSi data they should be appended to end of file).
NOTE: Application is for PocketPC/WindowsMobile so it uses Compact .NET Framework
