iOS App for Sports Club

Sports club looking to have developed an iOS app to deliver News (under a News or other headings) Calendar events (similar to news stories but expire from display after a certain date) Notices (similar to news stories but expire after a certain date). Also potentially look at sections for Results and Fixtures. A similar type app on the market is "RTE GAA" that could be used as a useful reference. Application will be fed information via Web-Services (or similar). Proposal is that sports club will have database of content. The Web Service can either be developed by the Sports Club in agreement with the developing software company or if you are happy to develop web-services also then please indicate within the quote as an option. The sports club will define the database schema. If you've developed similar apps already these could be considered if it accelerates development time-line. Sports Club has a number of activities (e.g. Tennis, Golf, Badminton, Athletics) so the ability to allow the user filter based on categories will be important.
