Company Over View Our Client (the Company) is a packaging distributor based in New Jersey, USA. They have been in business since 1985 and have supplied packaging materials to over 2,000 customers in the last two years alone. The company supplies mainly corrugated boxes and other packaging materials. The company has identified the food and beverage industry as it’s primary target as this vertical is expected to grow at a significant rate and will require boxes and other packaging materials. Product Overview The Company wants to offer its insulated shipping containers to the food and beverage industry. These boxes meet all the design specifications required by food suppliers and can also be customized based on a client’s requirements. These have been sold with significant success in the past. Project Description The Company wants to hire a market research firm that can identify up to 1,000 qualified leads based on the following criteria: 1. Industry: Food & Beverage 2. Geographical Location: in a 100-mile radius from the Company’s physical zip code (07073) in East Rutherford, NJ 3. Operations: the prospect can have either brick & mortar or internet operations. 4. The target must have an on-line store. 5. The target must ship a food product or beverage using either UPS or FED-EX. 6. Method for Research: Internet and database research ONLY based on criteria above (1-3). At no point should the research firm directly contact the prospect via any means of communication (phone, email, fax etc.) 7. Information to be provided to the company: A list of containing the following: a. Name of prospect company b. URL address c. Address of prospect company d. Telephone number e. Email address f. Years in business (if available) g. Size of prospect: Gross Revenue or employee count or both (if available) Budget The company wishes to pay on a per found lead basis. A lead is defined to be a prospect with accurate information shown in the list presented above (items 1 – 7). The company initially intends to do a pilot and procure a list of 200 targets (located in a 100 mile radius of 07073 but limited to the state of New Jersey) qualified leads from the research company. Based on the quality of leads provided in the pilot, the company may be authorized to proceed with the remainder of the project.
