Dear, Have used Horovod to perform a distributed training in a pilot project. Can help you with it. Approach: - Start with a raw model with random weights - Start with a small partitioned dataset to perform a Data-Parallel training(Synchronous Distributed training approach) - Let the Distributed Optimizer reduces the gradients, it increases the gradient quality by averaging gradients from all nodes - We will start with a small learning rate, as the quality of gradients increase, we will increase the learning rate - Gradually warm it up to target learning rate i.e., Single Node Learning Rate * Number of Nodes For the Inference: Not sure if its a batch or online inference mode, we can check this too. I assume the scope is to setup horovod for distributed training and you would perform the tuning of the model as per your needs.
