Building a supervised AI model which calculates wind speed and direction

We want to know the wind speed and direction calculated from a pendulum swinging in the wind. Inside the pendulum is a accelerometer which sends data to a database. We also have real data from a real wind sensor. So we know the actual wind speed and wind direction. Our data would look like the one in the attachment. Your job would be to teach an AI how to calculate the windspeed and wind direction from the data of the pendulum. Supervised regression? Is that the way to go? Would you use Scikit for it? Looking forward to hear your approach and time schedule. Should not take too long for someone who has experience in machine learning.

hi, regression should be used but I would like to try neural networks also. It is hard to tell which method is better without trying. But it is wrong to stay stuck with only one method. For regression method scikit is a great tool. But for neural network model tensorflow is might be the better option. My humble opinion is that going with neural networks and optimize the hyper parameters might be a better option. I also have worked with data somethink like yours.

yes you right that should not take a long time, I am thinking of two algorithms to use either SVM or logistic regression, if the data big enough I should use neural network.
