The Scope of this project is as follows: Create a distribution of Linux Kali with the required software to perform automated vulnerability testing on a LAN. The LAN would be made us of Linux and Windows servers and Windows clients. The testing is to be run un-attended periodically (for example: once a week or a month ) and generate testing results that are archived. The vulnerability test results are to be compared between the runs, in a way to identify any new breaches or infections. Since the vulnerability databases used are changing all the time – a method of updating needs to be implemented – an automated process. Deliverables: - An ISO image of Linux Kali that performs the above. - Some Instructions on how to install, run, and use the testing - Source code for the scripts that will run the different tests Please add any items that you feel I may have missed. Also, I can re-evaluate the budget if we agree on additional items to improve the project.
