Support Service for the Maintenance of Data Server - Server is designed to pole remote IoT systems which provide monitoring data server stores the data in my SQL. The data is then used by remote users through Grafana to view and use the data. Responsibilities: * Maintain and troubleshoot the data server, including software packages such as Node-RED, Linux Mint, MySQL, Grafana, and WireGuard. * Perform regular system updates, security monitoring, and optimisation to ensure smooth operation. * Collaborate with the team to address any server-related issues or performance concerns promptly. Requirements: * Proficiency in Node-RED, Linux Mint, MySQL, Grafana, and WireGuard. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Availability to respond to occasional tasks and emergencies as needed. * Ability to work independently and efficiently manage workload. * Excellent communication skills to interact with remote users and team members effectively. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with 3-phase electrical systems and measurements. * Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript. * Knowledge of networking protocols and cybersecurity best practices. Work Hours: * On average, 10 hours per month, with occasional additional tasks as required. * Flexibility to accommodate occasional emergencies or urgent issues. Training and Handover: * A handover period of 20 hours will be provided to familiarize the successful candidate with the system and its operations.
