Date Picker / Slider Scheduling Widget

Overview: I am looking to build a single datetime slider that visually represents event dates for a Job, from requisition through to delivery The slider slider visualises 2 selectable and dynamically restricted datetime fields, and displays 3 other autocalculated dates. Detail: Display: Timeline: this to display 12 working days in 760px width. Weekend cells to be half size of working day days, and to be discounted from hour calculations Time settings: Working Day setting: editable, and defined by drop down selectors (start range 7am - 10am; end range 3pm - 10pm) - this gives a total calculation Working Speed setting: this is a check box that will determine which value (4 / 8 / 36 / - hrs) is used for a later date calculation Date Display functionality: All date fields have a corresponding chevrons / representation on the Dateline. Date #1: "Auction Start" - calculated as "Now" + 2 hours Date #2: "Prices to Buyer" - Selectable from a datetimepicker, or draggable / selectable chevron. Min = "Auction Start" + 3 hrs. Max = "Auction Start" + 7 working days Date #3: "Default Sign-off date" - calculated as "Prices to Buyer" + "Working speed time value" Date #5: "Leadtime" - this has constant value of 3 working days Date #6: "Delivery Date" - selectable from Datepicker (not Datetimepicker), and moveable chevron on Dateline. Min = Beginning of working day that follows "Default Sign-off Date" + "Leadtime" value Max = " Default Sign off Date" + 12 working days Design: I have attached a mockup on excel of the desired layout. The boxes for "working day" settings, "Working speed" selection on the left, and Datepicker / display dates on the right are moveable, and in reality will be in a different place on the page. The Dateline is the important design element - however, I am flexible to some design tweaks / simplifications / improvements, but the information output on the visual is the basic requirement. There may be some problems interfacing the jquery timepicker with multiple jquery slider toggles, so this widget might need a creative solution, treating the slider as a string of hours, divided into days according to the working day settings (with weekends being ignored), and from there some quite simple validations, calculated in hours, being applied to the "datetime" selectors.
