Upgrade Xcode mariadb-c-connector project to the latest library version (macOS & iOS)

Is my understanding correct that You need to reconfigure the project, by adding headers/sources from the newest mysql, make sure that it builds frameworks for macOS and iOS/simulator and verify that the frameworks work on all target platforms?
