Chemistry Chemical Dye Synthesis Literature Survey

Chemistry Chemical Synthesis Literature Survey You have a degree in Chemistry. This project is to find the most efficient synthesis for several similar anthraquinone dyes. We have several CAS numbers and about 100 structural drawings of RARE AQ dyes. You will eyeball the CAS numbers and drawings and speculate about : Consumer safety? Purity? Synthesis difficulty, time, and cost? We need a couple of violet dyes, a couple of blue dyes, a couple red dyes, a yellow dye. We like AZO also but AZO is getting a bad rap. You will review the synthesis literature, and suggest some journal articles describing the synthesis of laboratory quantities of dyes (typically about 200 grams per dye). You will evaluate the synthesis procedure and suggest improvements to the syntheses.
